"Johnny Belinda," the film adaptation of the Broadway play about a mistreated deaf girl living on a Canadian island stars, Jane Wyman, who won an Academy Award® for her performance as Belinda, along with Lew Ayres, Charles Bickford and Agnes Moorehead. "Johnny Belinda" will screen at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills on Monday, June 13, 2005, as part of the series "Great To Be Nominated, Part Two," which showcases Best Picture nominees that accumulated the most Academy Award nominations in all categories in a particular year, but did not ultimately win the Oscar® for Best Picture.
