"Beyond the Rocks," a long-lost 1922 silent film starring Rudolph Valentino and Gloria Swanson, was screened as part of the "Lost and Found" series at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Samuel Goldwyn Theater on Tuesday, November 29. Pictured here before the screening are (left to right): Gloria Swanson's granddaughter, Brooke Anderson; Jetta van den Dool; Hans van den Dool, Deputy Consul General of the Netherlands; Elif Rongen-Kaynakci, archival researcher of the Nederlands Filmmuseum, which restored the film; and Rudolph Valentino's grandnieces, Sylvia Valentino Huber and Jeanette Valentino Villalobos.

Archival researcher of the Nederlands Filmmuseum, Elif Rongen-Kaynakci, introduced a screening of the long-lost 1922 silent film "Beyond the Rocks," starring Rudolph Valentino and Gloria Swanson, as part of the "Lost and Found" series at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Samuel Goldwyn Theater on Tuesday, November 29. It was the Nederlands filmmuseum that restored the film.
